GOG.com & Nexus Mods Team Up For Reddit Giveaway
To show their appreciation of game mods (and to mark the new Nexus website design), Nexus Mods, GOG.com, and PC Master Race have decided to hold a “massive giveaway”. There’s a total of 114 prizes, including keys for different games, and a variety of hardware. Those that want to enter have until December 3rd to do so.
GOG.com and Nexus Mods have teamed together with the PC Master Race subreddit to make a giveaway to celebrate the art of modding games. As the announcement on GOG.com states: “It’s one of the things that defines PC gaming – keeping our favorite games alive (and better!), bringing us together as a community, a way to explore our passions, sometimes an open door into the industry of our dreams.” Nexus Mods have has also posted an announcement on the PC Master Race subreddit, featuring the link for the giveaway. If you decide to enter, you can be one of 114 potential winners. Every winner will get one of the prizes.
Speaking of the prizes, let’s go over what you stand to win, in case you decide to participate. First off, you can get a key for one of five games, which you can redeem on GOG.com. There’s 30 keys for Divinity: Original Sin 2, 35 keys for Stardew Valley, and 15 keys each for Divinity: Original Sin, Starbound, and Neverwinter Nights. Now, we get into the hardware section. The prizes include one MSI GeForce GTX 1070 TI TITANIUM 8G Graphics Card, one 1 MSI X299 TOMAHAWK ARCTIC Motherboard, and one MSI Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON AC Motherboard. Last, but not least, you have the chance the win one CORSAIR Peripheral Set, which includes a K95 RGB Platinum Mechanical Keyboard, MM800 RGB Gaming Mouse Pad, Void Pro Gaming Headset, Glaive Gaming Mouse, and a ST100 Headset Stand.
