EA Servers Down Madden 22
Madden 22 EA servers are down, causing some confusion among the player base. By that, I mean the people that don’t necessarily follow official notifications. Those players have been left wondering whether they’ve done something wrong on their end. Well, I’m here to tell you that there’s nothing wrong with your game or internet. The EA Madden 22 servers are down for routine maintenance, and you’ll have to wait until it’s done.
Madden 22 Servers Down
As we’ve already made clear, the Madden 22 EA servers are down now. The process started at 6:00 AM ET. The tweet announcing the downtime did not say how long the servers are going to be down, so that’s a bummer. You’ll just have to be patient until the whole thing wraps up. Lord knows that they have a ton of stuff to fix, such as the Franchise Mode Final Score bug. However, since this is just billed as server maintenance, I wouldn’t hold my breath that they’ll implement patches at the same time. One can only hope, of course.
Basically, all the tweet says is this: “There will be a server maintenance for Madden NFL 22 on Thursday, August 26th at 6:00 AM ET. During this time, servers will be offline and unavailable. Please make sure to finish your games and save any progress before the maintenance begins. Also, Solo Battles will be gated as early as 5:00 AM ET to protect players from any issues and will unlock after maintenance is complete.” So, that’s why the Madden 22 EA servers are down at the moment. I assume it’ll last for a couple of hours. That said, I really do wish that they said how long it’ll last.
Madden NFL 22 launched on August 20th, and you can play it on PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series S/X. However, as you can see in the replies to the tweet we’ve linked above, people are not at all happy about the state that the game is currently in. I’d advise waiting for a bit until the developers fix at least the major issues.
