Fans of The Saw movies and all the gore hounds out there will be delighted to know that the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game, Dead By Daylight, is introducing a new killer, survivor, and map into the mix. All of them will revolve around the Saw franchise. The new Saw-themed DLC got a trailer, which you can check out below. It looks pretty intense. And, before you ask, yes, the Reverse Bear Trap does feature very prominently. The DLC will launch on January 23rd, on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

So, what is the Saw Chapter DLC bringing to Dead by Daylight? The new survivor is David Tapp, the prominent character from the Saw franchise, portrayed by Danny Glover. As for the new map, it’s the Gideon Meatpacking Plant. Everybody who has even a passing interest in the Saw franchise will recognize the location immediately. It is the main location in Saw III and Saw IV, but it also appears in other installments.

Last, but most certainly not the least, the new killer. Unfortunately, it’s not the Jigsaw Killer himself. Instead, it’s one of his disciples, The Pig. It could be Amanda Young, but that remains to be seen. Either way, The Pig will have access to arguably the most famous of John Kramer’s devices: the Reverse Bear Trap. Recently, there has been a leak on Reddit, courtesy of user Spudtatooooo, which showed off the powers The Pig possesses. These can’t be confirmed just yet, but if they do turn out to be real, survivors are going to have a hell of a time trying to escape The Pig.
