Crash Bandicoot Topping All Sales Charts Including in UK
Since the last week of June, when Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was released, it has been selling like crazy. The proof of its popularity is confirmed by the UK sales charts. Some other games like GTA V and Dirt 4 had to give up their spot in the list to the new ruler.
The list below is from the UK’s top 10 selling games, measuring physical sales only. The company Chart-Track was formed in 1996 and they monitor sales of music, videos and software through retail in the UK and Ireland.

The success of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy comes just a few days after its release. Micro Machines, that debuted in second place, was released on the same date. They’ve pushed down games like GTA V, FIFA 17 and Dirt 4.
The first place is not the only thing Crash Bandicoot can be praised for. The original Crash Bandicoot games, with almost 16 different titles, currently occupy the 24th position within the all-time UK franchise list. This includes the boxed software and unit sales since 1995 up to the week. A rather astounding number.
The UK sales chart from last week was a bit different than this one. That week, Grand Theft Auto V took over first place from Horizon Zero Dawn. A total of six titles from this period retained their top-10 position in the latest one.
