Release Date & Time of COD Black Ops Cold War Season 2

The COD Black Ops Cold War Season 2 release date is Tuesday, February 23. As for the release times, they are between 12AM and 2AM ET / 9PM and 11PM PT / 6AM and 8AM CET. The Season 2 update for Warzone will drop on Wednesday, February 24th. The launch times are the same – somewhere between 12AM and 2AM ET / 9PM and 11PM PT / 6AM and 8AM CET. One assumes that the developers are giving themselves a window to account for any possible issues during the updating process.

As for the new content dropping in the Season 2 update, there’s a lot to look forward to. For example, you’ll have four new operators: Kapano “Naga” Vang, Samantha Maxis, Wolf, and Rivas. Also, there’ll be six new weapons: the FARA 83 Assault Rifle, the LC10 SMG, the ZRG 20mm sniper, the R1 Shadowhunter crossbow, the E-Tool (aka a shovel) and a machete to top it all off. The first two weapons come from completing the Battle Pass, while others are related to challenges (or you can buy the blueprints when available).

Of course, that’s not the only content you’ll be able to enjoy in COD Black Ops Cold War Season 2. There are also new maps (Apocalypse, Golova, Mansion, Miami Strike), new modes (Gun Game, Stockpile, Hardpoint), and more. It’s a lot to sink your teeth into, and will definitely keep players going for a while longer.
