Breach Content Drop Includes New Class, Map, Boss, & More
QC Games have released a huge new update for their multiplayer action RPG, Breach. In the new update, Patch 0.1: Valley of Kings, you can find a new map set in the Valley of Kings, Sekhmet, the new boss, and a whole new class, the Medic Hero. The developers have also announced the first invitational tournament, which will take place in the beginning of March, and gifts for early adopters.
Breach, the 4v1 action RPG from developer QC games, has gotten a massive content update recently. The update, called Patch 0.1: Valley of Kings, includes some pretty interesting new stuff: a new map, set in Egypt’s Valley of Kings, a new boss (the ancient Egyptian warrior goddess Sekhmet), and a brand new class: the Medic Hero class. The Medic’s ability is to summon Microbots, which “follow and heal allies over time and then redirect them to converge on enemies for burst damage.” Their ultimate radios in a “Microbot’s Triage routine”. What does that do? According to the press release, it gradually repairs the wounds of all allies in a designated area. Sounds pretty interesting.
In other Breach news, the devs have announced the first Breach invitational tournament, to be featured on Twitch, Mixer, and Facebook. The tournament will take place on March 2nd, and top streamers will compete for their slice of the $10,000 prize pool. Viewers will also be able to win prizes, including NVIDIA graphics cards and an Alienware PC. Also, Breach now offers the $10 Early Access Pass, which contains “access to Breach, a 30-day XP/Gold boost, and 2,000 QC Points.” Lastly, QC Games will be gifting 3,000 QC Points to people that purchased the Breach Founder Pack during the games first month of early access.
