Bad Dream: Fever Launches mid-November on PC & Mac
The new game in the Bad Dream series, called Bad Dream: Fever, has a set launch date. It’s coming out on November 15th, for PC and Mac. It’s going to be a point-and click horror adventure, where you’ll navigate a post-apocalyptic world, where some strange ink plague has all but eradicated the population.
Fans of moody, stylish, and atmospheric horror point-and-click games have a little something to look forward to this fall. According to a new press release, a new chapter of the Bad Dream series is coming out in mid-November. More specifically, you can look forward to Bad Dream: Fever on November 15th. You’ll be able to pick it up on PC or Mac. And what will the game offer you? Well, here are some features that the game promises: “a sleepy and feverishly [sic] world, an honest history [sic], creative and unconventional riddles, an intriguing graphic design,” and, lastly, “suggestive locations.” I’m not sure what that means, but… it is a thing the game claims to have.
The team behind Bad Dream: Fever is still the Polish studio Desert Fox, with Ultimate Games S.A. and PlayWay S.A. acting as producers. Considering the high marks and YouTube fame the previous games in the series have garnered, you know the new entry has all the chances of being just as good. In Bad Dream: Fever, the whole world has fallen to an ink plague, that has decimated the people. In this setting, you’re going to have to navigate your character through the nightmarish world of the game. Apparently, the game will feature “one story track,” and will take about four hours to beat. No knowledge of previous games required; just pick up and play.
If Bad Dream: Fever sounds like something up your alley, you can learn more about it on the game’s Steam page. You can also check out the teaser trailer, which came out last December. Just to get a taste of what the game has in store.
