Apex Legends Season 2 Battle Pass & Limited-Time Event Detailed

The developers of Apex Legends, Respawn, have announced some of the new content that they’ve prepared for the game. For one, they’ve cooked up a limited-time event, which will run for two weeks, starting June 4th. It’s going to include several fun things, like the Elite Queue for those that tend to place in the Top 5. Also, they’ve through in a few hints as to what’s coming in the future Season 2 Battle Pass.

So, first off, the limited-time event. It’s gonna be called The Legendary Hunt, and it’ll last for two weeks. It’s starting on Tuesday, June 4th, and there’s gonna be some fun stuff to look forward to. For one, the Apex Elite Queue. If you make it to the Top 5 in any match, and you’ll have access to the queue full of other Top 5 placers. However, you’ll have to keep placing in the Top 5 to keep the privilege. Also included are a Double XP weekend (June 7th to June 10th), Battle Pass Bonus XP (finish in Top 5 to get an entire Battle Pass level once a day), two additional Legendary skins for Battle Pass owners, Legendary Hunt challenge rewards for limited-time challenges, and more.

Then, we have the Season 2 Battle Pass features. More details will come on June 8th, during the Apex Legends portion of the EA Play livestream, but they have revealed some details now. For example, you’ll be leveling up your Battle Pass through Daily and Weekly Challenges. You can expect the time to get to Level 100 to be much shorter than before. Also, you’ll get three extra legendary skins added to the rewards, and whole new content categories will replace badge and stat tracker rewards. Lastly, you’ll earn enough Crafting Metal rewards from the full reward track to craft whatever legendary item you want. If you want the full scoop, go to the announcement page for more info.
