How to Buy & Equip Custom Shoes in NBA 2K24

To buy and equip custom shoes in NBA 2K24, you need to enter the shoe customization menu. However, you should first go into the city and check whether the shoe brand you want to make exists. If not, you won’t be able to buy it. Also, you have to make sure that the type of shoe is also available to purchase. If it doesn’t, again, you won’t have the chance to pick up a pair.

Once all that is done, go into Features from the main menu, then select Shoe Creator. Pick the brand you want, then the shoe, and customize it however you want. Save the shoe, then head into the city. Go to the store of the brand you made, interact with the front desk, and buy the shoes you made. Exit the store, open the pause menu and tab over to MyPlayer. Select Appearance. From there, you can choose which mode you want to wear the shoes in and equip them. Easy.

NBA 2K24 Shoes Missing in REC

Now that we know how shoe customization works in NBA 2K24 and how to equip them, you should know that they will probably be missing in the REC. There’s some kind of bug that prevents you from seeing them, even if you’ve equipped them properly. It’s the same as last year, and a patch will probably fix it at some point. In the meantime, you should be able to wear regular shoes that you’ve bought in the REC, just not the ones you’ve customized. It sucks, because you want everyone to see your kicks, but it is what it is. If you’ve found a workaround for the issue, let us all know in the comments.
