NBA 2K24 Race of the Week 2 Tips
In our NBA 2K24 Race of the Week 2 Tips guide, we are going to give you some advice on how you can win the race and get the rewards. The electric skateboard moves really slowly, but then again, so does your opponent’s. With average speed not being much of a factor, you have to use other little tricks to come out on top. Here’s what you need to do.
Race of the Week 2 NBA 2K24 Tips
At time of writing, nobody has been able to complete Race of the Week 2 in NBA 2K24. To begin with, you have to buy a BMX, which costs 75,000 VC. That’s brutal enough already, but then you have to actually win the race, which we haven’t been able to do yet. We’ve been trying for hours, and no dice. We’ll update the guide further when we manage to pull it off. If you’ve done it, let us know how in the comments.
How to Beat Race of the Week 1 in NBA 2K24
There are several things you can do to beat the Race of the Week 1 in NBA 2K24. The first tip that we can give you is that the speed-up method from 2K23, where you alternated between pressing L2 and R2 / left and right trigger to glitch yourself into going faster, does not work anymore. You’ll have to win the “right” way. It’s a bummer, but what can you do. Tip #2 is to practice the course once or twice. There’s no real penalty for failing, so who cares if you lose? Our third tip is to cut corners whenever you can. There’s no reason to stay in the middle of the street and take wide turns; you’ll lose precious seconds that way. And while you’re going straight, don’t adjust course too much; keep it a straight line.
Speaking of taking turns, another thing you should do to beat the NBA 2K24 Race of the Week 1 is not go through the middle of the checkpoint signs. It’s enough to just clip the post holding it up. So, as you’re cutting the turns, just touch the checkpoint post closest to you. Once again, this will save you a second or two, which is often the difference between winning and losing. After a few tries, you should get it right no problem. If you need more visual assistance, feel free to check out our video. It’ll also show you where Hannah Ray is, aka the NPC that lets you participate in the race. After you win, you’ll get 2,500 VC, Seasonal XP, and a special player banner. And if you manage to beat the best time, you’ll receive a million VC. Good luck!
