Controls List | Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat X is all about having control over your character. In this guide, we’ll show you the basic controls used for moving, performing attacks, special moves and finishers.

Movement Controls

For movement, you can either use the directional arrows or the left analog stick. You’ll often have to use diagonal directions (like down+forward) for combos, so the analog stick will be easier to use for most people.

• Forward – Right arrow
• Back – Left arrow
• Jump – Up arrow
• Crouch – Down arrow

• Front punch – Sqare
• Front kick – X
• Back punch – Triangle
• Back kick – Circle

• Throw – L1
• Interact – R1
• Block – R2
• Super Move – L2 + R2

Mortal Kombat X Xbox Controls

• Front punch – X
• Front kick – A
• Back punch – Y
• Back kick – B

• Throw – LB
• Interact – RB
• Block – RT
• Super Move – LT + RT

Hidden Fatalities

Hidden or Secret Fatalities are finishing moves in Mortal Kombat X which button combinations are hidden in the move list. Each character has 2 fatalities.
