Capcom as decided to slowly drip-feed us bits and pieces of information about the upcoming Monster Hunter World. The launch is still some way away, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t start getting the fans hyped. Among other things, we now know that you’ll be able to have a house in the game. There, you’ll be able to swap your gear, sleep, train. etc. Of course, you’ll have the opportunity to find more houses as you make your way through Monster Hunter World.

Of course, what are you to do with just a house without someone to keep it warm for you? Well, to answer that, Monster Hunter World is going to let you keep pets in your house. In the new Monster Hunter, you can shoot out a net that lets you catch the smaller creatures roaming around the map. If you capture some of them in your net, you can then take them to your living quarters and release them. They will just kinda chill in your house. It’s safe to assume that you’ll be able to interact with them in some capacity, if only for roleplaying purposes. The amount and types of animals you can keep will depend on the type of your house, according to Gematsu.

Monster Hunter World is an action RPG game from Capcom, and the latest entrance in the long-running series. It’s coming out on January 26th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the PC version coming later down the pipeline.
