Monster Hunter World Stays in First Place on UK Sales Chart

Monster Hunter World is still doing pretty damned well, sales-wise. It started off pretty strong in its first week after launch. It debuted in first place on UK sales charts. Moreover, Capcom announced that they shipped five million copies of the game on PS4 and Xbox One (the PC version is coming later). That’s a series record. Sure, copies shipped does not equal copies sold, but if Monster Hunter World keeps going like this, they will sell.

Yes, the new Monster Hunter has kept its first place in the UK sales chart, according to Chart-Track. That’s the second week in a row, and I’m curious to see how far it will stay up there. In second place, we have EA Sports UFC 3, followed by Call of Duty: WW2 in third. In fourth place is FIFA 18, GTA V is in fifth, and Dragon Ball FighterZ is in sixth. The last four are Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, and Breath of the Wild. What’s important to note is that this chart only counts physical copies sold, not digital ones. So, that might skew the situation a bit. That being said, Monster Hunter World is doing really well, as I’d say it deserves to.
