Large elder dragon gem & bone, pure dragon blood are crafting materials in Monster Hunter World. They’re high rank materials, and they’re only available in the Iceborne DLC. How to get Large Elder Dragon Gem

You can get this item from almost any elder dragon in the expansion (Shara Ishvalda has its own, so that one’s the exception). It’s the master rank equivalent of the gems elder dragons used to drop at high rank. There’s a really low chance it’ll drop, so be prepared to grind. The monsters that can drop it include Velkhana, Namielle, Blackveil Vaal Hazak.

Where to find Large Elder Dragon Bone

Each elder dragon from Hoarfrost Reach to the Guided Lands can drop this bone. This means you can go after Velkhana, Ruiner Nergigante, Blackveil Vaal Hazak, Namielle or Shara Ishvalda if you need it.

Pure Dragon Blood

This master rank material also comes from elder dragons in Iceborne. This means pretty much any elder dragon found in Hoarfrost Reach or the Guided Lands can drop it. This includes Shara Ishvalda, Velkhana, Blackveil Vaal Hazak, Ruiner Nergigante and Namielle.

That’s pretty much it. All of these items are exclusive to elder dragons, which means you should prepare for a lot of fairly long fights.
