Monster Hunter World Investigate Unknown Monster Tracks Quest
Once you beat the final boss and start High Rank in Monster Hunter World, you’re basically playing through New Game Plus. Make no mistake – the names are different, but it’s pretty much teh same thing. All that awaits you now are more difficult versions of monsters you’ve already fought, improved variants of armor sets you’ve already crafted, and such. One of the first things you’ll see once you’ve unlocked High Rank is a bit of a mystery – a quest that tasks you with searching for some Rathian tracks. This guide is going to help you complete Monster Hunter World Investigate Unknown Monster Tracks quest.
Where to search for Rathian tracks?
The quest objective doesn’t point you towards a specific area, so you’d probably guess it’s time to look at the encyclopaedia and check where Rathians usually hang out. That’s not the case though – we’re not sure whether this is a bug, or just some developer’s idea of a cunning ruse, but you don’t actually have to do anything to complete this quest.
The meter will fill up as you go around and do your thing – complete quests, hunt monsters, etc. Once the meter is full, the game will announce you’ve found the Rathian, even though you did no such thing. You will be able to confront the beast now, and the game will lead you to it.
Make no mistake – the names are different, but it’s pretty much “teh” same thing.
Gotta be the bunghole here and point out the obvious, good post though, helped me.
What if you have no progress bar when you beat missions, no tracks to find, and have already beaten the high rank pukei pukei
Yeah there’s no progress bar for me
What happens after that?
