How to Play Monster Hunter World w/o Other Players?

You have to set up a private online session. That way, no other players will be intruding upon your game. You can explore the world to your leisure, with no interruptions or distractions. Using this method, you’ll create a session that is invisible to others, basically.

This is a choice that you’ll have to make at the start of any play session, from the game’s main menu. Select the Start Game option. The game will then prompt you to select which save/character you want to proceed with. Pick the one you want. From there, select Create an Online Session. In the next menu, adjust all of the parameters as you wish. However, the last setting is the important one here. Select the Private Session option, then Yes.
