Monster Hunter World How to Create & Join Squads
Squads are like clans in Monster Hunter World. They allow you to join in-game communities, and make it easier to find hunters who can help. You can either join an existing squad or create your own, and the option becomes available pretty early on in the game. Some players can’t figure out how to join & create squads in Monster Hunter World, which probably means the system is more complex than it needs to be.
How to make squads in MHW?
In order to make a squad, you’ll need to talk to the Squad Manager. They can be found at Astera, in the Gathering Hub on the fourth floor. Once you get off the elevator, you’ll end up face to face with the manager, standing behind the Squad Counter. When you speak to her, you’ll have three options: to create, manage or disband/quit a squad. The second option allows you to see a list of members, leave messages, join squads or invite people to your own, and to switch your active squad.
Being part of a squad will allow you to find regular buddies for coop – it’s always better to play with friends than strangers from the internet. However, you don’t have to cooperate with others. If you like to be left alone, you can always play solo. It’s going to be a bit more difficult, but still doable.
Monster Hunter World is an action RPG in which you take on the role of a hunter, stalking giant creatures in an unexplored world. It’s the most accessible installment of the series yet, but there are still some points which aren’t too clear. The squad management is just one of them – if you get stuck at any point, be sure to check our guides section for help.
