Monster Hunter World Dragonite Ore Locations
Dragonite ore is a type of mineral in Monster Hunter World. It’s a crafting ingredient, and you’ll need a fair bit of it to upgrade armor or create items. It becomes available once you reach the third map, Coral Highlands. In order to save you some time, we’ve decided to make a guide with Monster Hunter World dragonite ore locations.
Where to find Dragonite Ore in MHW?
As it usually goes with minerals in MHW, you’ll find dragonite ore in mining outcrops. We’ve had a lot of luck mining it from nodes in the Coral Highlands, especially sectors 8 and 11. The nodes are restored in real time, which means you don’t even have to leave the area for them to respawn. Simply wait a little and they’ll replenish themselves. Rinse and repeat until you’ve got the desired quantity.
You’ll need this ore for a quite a few armor sets, including High Metal and Ingot. If an outcrop doesn’t yield dragonite the first time you try it, make sure you try again. The game can mix up the drop rates on nodes, which means it can depend on luck. You can also get them as quest rewards, but that method isn’t as reliable – you’d need to happen upon the right quest at the right time.
Love your location guides for items; keep up the good work man.
Thanks for this! I got some off Ragnaros’ back but I couldn’t find more.
