Where to Find Massive Bones Monster Hunter Rise

To find Monster Hunter Rise Massive Bones, you have to hunt Goss Harag, the monster that you first meet during the Abominable Snow-Beast six-star Village Quest. You can also find it during Hub Quests like Disastrously Beautiful and The Blizzard Blender. As far as we can tell, the Massive Bone only drops as a target reward, or quest reward. That’s why I’m mentioning all the quest you can find Goss Harag in. To make things even worse, the drop rate is a piddling 8% or so. In other words, get ready for some serious grinding. Good luck.

If you don’t know where to find Goss Harag, the only source of Massive Bones in MHR, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. The beast appears only in the Frost Islands, around the number 6. A little bit to the north, to be exact. You can track the beast via the icons in the upper right corner, so it shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Also, it’s hard to miss, being a giant white pig-ape with ice swords for arms. In case you do run into trouble, check out the screenshots below.

That’s where you find Massive Bones in Monster Hunter Rise. If something else in the game is giving you trouble, allow me to redirect you to our bevvy of MH Rise guides that you might find handy.
