How to Join Monster Hunter Rise Friends Quest

To join a quest with friends in Monster Hunter Rise, the first thing you need to do is make sure that you’re in the same lobby. You can do this in two ways; either create your own lobby and invite them in, or join their lobby. Whoever makes the lobby needs to share the lobby ID with the rest of the crew. Then, the rest of you can use the “Search by Lobby ID” feature in order to find the exact one the host made. The steps are pretty easy to follow from there. Just keep in mind that you can “only” have up to four players per lobby; at least, that was the case on the Switch.

The last step to join friends on quests in Monster Hunter Rise is to find the Quest Board near Minoto the Hub Maiden. Choose whichever quest you want to go on and accept it. The mission should then begin for everyone in the lobby. Now, there is one thing you need to know at this juncture, and that is that monster difficulty scales with the number of people in the lobby. In other words, you are not gonna have an easier time just because you have friends over. Compounding the “issue” is that you can all only bring one Palamute and Palico each as opposed to the usual two. So, good luck to all of you.
