Angel With Broken Wings is the 10th main mission in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. If executed right, you can make this mission the shortest one so far.

It can take only 5 minutes to complete it. The main task requires you to extract a prisoner called Malak.
Obtainable Skills/Blueprints
All of the following are obtained by extracting a prisoner that has the appropriate skill (scan them with the upgraded binoculars to identify them). The main prisoner, Malak, should have the Anesthesia Specialist skill and the prisoner in Yakho Obooo Supply Outpost – Mechatronics Specialist Skill.

Extract Malak, the Mujahideen prisoner who is being held at Lamar Khaate Palace.
Extracted the Mujahideen prisoner called Malak
Malak is found in a small 4-seat car in front of the large Lamar Khaate Palace. There is an armored escort vehicle behind it. The first time I’d done this mission, a sandstorm hit the area. I was able to run to the vehicle, kill two soldiers in the front seats and steal the car wit Malak inside.
Malak is inside the only four seat car.

You might not be this lucky with the weather. The solution is rather easy. Place your horse buddy on the road that goes north from the area and hide. The convoy with stop in order to move the animal. Let them get near you, as close as possible. Shoot the two soldiers and run to the car. The escort vehicle will notice you and start shooting toward you, but it won’t matter. You’ll be in the car on your way into the safe zone. Call the helicopter for pick-up and get the injured prisoner in.
Sometimes the rush pays off.

In order to do so, you’ll have to enhance your Fulton with the Cargo 2 Upgrade.
Extracted 3 prisoners being held at Lamar Khaate Palace
There are a lot of prisoners at the Palace, but the soldiers start executing them one by one at a certain point. If you’re looking to finish this task, you better not waste any time. One prisoner is outside, between the palace and the blue trailers, while the others are inside, on the upper floors.
Extracted 2 prisoners being held at Yakho Obooo Supply Outpost
The Yakho Oboo Supply Outpost is found north of Lamar Khaate Palace. If you let the car with Malak go away, they’ll head to this Outpost. The prisoners are in a cell in the northern part of the compound.
Listened to the last conversation between the transport truck driver and Malak
If you let the car reach Yakho Oboo outpost, you can eavesdrop on Malak and the truck driver. You’ll be able to hear them from the roof, and even outside the walls (thanks to Kevin and mim94 for the tip).
Right after Malak stops in Yakko WakkoAndDot Outpost, you can hear a conversation between one of his guards and a superior officer. The guard is trying to figure out where they’re taking him, and telling the officer he needs a doctor. The officer is pretty much like “fuck you and fuck him” and the truck driver tries to lift Malak’s spirits in the end. Make sure to mark these guys, and if you have to call your chopper in hot, try to tranq them before it comes, or better yet, send them to MB, They don’t deserve to die, I think.
You can use your binoculars to hear people talk from very, very far away. I heard the final conversation from outside the final area (it takes place literally in the final room where you find Malak in) – just make sure to mark Malak at some point and then you can follow his silhouette using the binoculars and then listen to him and the driver.
If you want to buy yourself some time before the prisoners are executed, then I figured out a way. Equip the riot smg for start and deploy at 1800. The horse is your choice, I didn’t use it this time around. When you start out, sprint along the cliff line to your left and cut left as soon as you can. You should see barbed wire in front of you, a small boulder to your right and a mountain (the one you just hugged) to your left. If you went too far, you will run into 2 patrol guards (or at least it was 2 for me.) Next, sprint left and skirt the dead zone by keeping far left. This should put you at the lift side of the palace. Now for the time buying. Go around back of it, you don’t need to sprint anymore, and sneak up on one of the guys near the the front. Don’t cqc them. Just hit them with the smg, making sure to make a head shot to knock them out. Just doing this should put them on alert and buy you some time before executions. To draw them down near the door on that side, start fultoning. You should be able to use the smg to head shot them pretty quickly, or cqc others that show up to save suppressor wear. When I finished my cqc and head shot spree, all that were left were the guards out far on the spot lights. You should now have all the time in the world to find the prisoners and fulton them out.
You can still get an S rating doing this, probably S+ if you really try. I got an S. This technique worked even without the sandstorm at the start.

You can go underneath the sewer and crawl to the west interrogation room to listen as well. Just get in from the right side of the gate where there is only one guard and shouldn’t be able to see you since he is 50m away
