Mass Effect Andromeda Stays Number 1 in UK Charts
Say what you will about Mass Effect Andromeda, there’s no doubt that it’s at least selling really well. It released two weeks ago, and it’s still hanging in the tops of the charts. In fact, ME: Andromeda is in first place in UK charts still, ahead of Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Lego Worlds and GTA V.
Mass Effect Andromeda might be the most hotly anticipated game of 2017, second maybe only to Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It might be buggy, with a weak plot and writing and downright hilarious character animations, but it does have a lot of exploration and action to offer. And one way or another, it’s moving a lot of units. So much so, that it’s holding first place in the UK gaming charts, two weeks after it came out.
On the UK chart, Andromeda is in front of Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Lego Worlds, Kingdom Hearts HD, GTA V, Horizon Zero Dawn, and so on. Here are the top ten games in the chart currently:
- Mass Effect: Andromeda
- Ghost Recon: Wildlands
- Lego Worlds
- Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- FIFA 17
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Rocket League
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Of course, this chart will certainly change, and maybe soon. There are a lot of games that are slated to come out just around the corner. We’ll see if and how long Mass Effect Andromeda will keep its grip on the top spot.
