Mass Effect: Andromeda E3 2016 Trailer
A new Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer has been shown at this year’s EA Play press conference, right before the start of E3 2016. It’s the first glimpse we’ve got in a long time, but it’s little more than a tease.
As far as concrete info is concerned, we know the game is being built using the Frostbite engine, although there’s no word on whether it’s going to take advantage of the engine’s destructibility.
The trailer shows us the ship’s name is Tempest this time around, but there’s someone in an N7 outfit shown. The face is hidden behind a helmet, so it’s probably going to be one of the old crew members from Normandy. The video goes on to show some beautiful vistas, some scary giant enemies and developers hard at work animating all that stuff. There are a couple of shots of the inevitable motion capture sesion, which literally no one in the whole universe cares about.
The video trails off with the scene of a woman waking up on a spaceship, lingering on her face for quite some time (in trailer terms). She could quite possibly be the new protagonist.

It will take place in the Andromeda galaxy, filled with new allies, enemies and worlds to explore. There’s no release date yet, but it’s supposed to ship in early 2017.
