How to Break Out of the Vault in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

This is a choice-exclusive area. Early on in Chapter 2, you will be faced with a choice of whether to sell Rocket or sell Groot. This is because you have run into some money problems, and the plan is to sell one of these to Lady Hellbender, who is a famous monster collector. You have to choose one of them. If you select Groot, Lady Hellbender will accept this deal and give you the money. Later on, you will rescue him and reunite Groot with the team.

On the other hand, if you choose to sell Rocket Racoon, all hell will break loose. Lady Hellbender will insult Rocket, he will insult her back and you will get into fight. This will lead you to the titular Vault. When you get there, you will notice that the room is filling up with poisonous gas. In order to get out you will first need to survey your surroundings. Scan the light attachment directly above you. Star-Lord will see that it is loose. Select Gamora and order her to cut it down. Next, have Drax throw the light through a nearby wall.
