Mafia 3 Launch Trailer Released
2K Games has released the launch trailer for Mafia 3. It’s a highly cinematic video, made up of thrilling scenes of Lincoln and his associates doing what they do best.
It also features an original, new song by Ice Cube.
The song is called “Nobody Wants to Die”. It’s an original song, created by Ice Cube and DJ Shadow specifically for this trailer. As with everything Mafia 3 related, it’s kinda over the top. The trailer itself contains to gameplay footage whatsoever, and it’s more akin to a music video than a launch trailer for a game.
If you’ve somehow missed the news, Mafia 3 is an open world action game about revenge, friendship and stealing cars. It will put you in the role of Lincoln Clay, a man with a vengeance, and make you take over the fictional city of New Bordeaux (based on the late sixties New Orleans).
You’re going to cheat, steal and murder in order to get to the top of the food chain and get your revenge on the man who took everything on you. In the meantime, you’ll have the chance to collect Playboy magazines, drive around the bayou, pimp your ride and simply enjoy the quite life of New Bordeaux. Until you decide to burn it all down.
Mafia 3 is going to launch tomorrow, October 7th, on Playstation 4, PC and Xbox One.
