Best Trade Skills Lost Ark
The best trade skills in Lost Ark are those that you should focus on leveling up first. All of the trade skills have their uses, so none of them should be completely ignored. However, there is a handful that should take precedent, at least early on. That’s what we’ll be discussing in this guide; which trade skills are best to focus on as soon as you get them.
Best Trade Skills in Lost Ark
The best trade skills in Lost Ark, for the purposes of this guide, will be the ones that you should focus on from the beginning. As we’ve already said in the first paragraph, all of these skills are useful in their own right. You can read more about them in our Unlock Trade Skills guide. However, there are those that are more important than others, which deserve your attention as soon as you can. Those are logging, mining, and foraging. Logging and mining should be your utmost priority, with foraging being a very close second. Let’s explain why real quick.
Logging and mining lets you gather large amounts of materials you can use to upgrade your Stronghold. The higher your level in these skills, the more and better materials you’ll get. Soon enough, you’ll be able to research and make new buildings, which in turn unlocks new, higher-level crafting recipes for things like potions and bombs. That’s where the foraging trade skill comes in as the second best in Lost Ark – it let’s you gather plants and mushrooms and craft aforementioned potions and explosives. Might as well have better things to make with all that flora, right?
That said, even though mining and logging are slightly more important than foraging, that doesn’t mean you should forget about it and work just on wood and metal. Keep gathering those plants and mushrooms at the same time, as much as possible. The other things, like fishing, hunting and excavating, can wait until later in the game. Fishing and hunting grant you cooking ingredients, which you use to get buffs in raids and that kind of stuff, while excavating gives you further crafting items. Very useful stuff, but not immediately necessary.
