Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens BB-8 Droid Trailer
There’s a new trailer for Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It’s another character spotlight, because let’s face it – the characters are what’s important in these games.
The tiny robot’s abilities are a real mystery for now – we know he’s going to be able to ram into opponents and knock them down, but that’s it. He might be able to perform droidy tasks, like picking locks and overriding security systems. In one part of the video, he powers up a generator by himself, which seems quite useful.
He isn’t suited for battle, that much is certain. He’ll probably play more of a support role, allowing players to easily reach hidden collectibles and other secrets. Make sure to pair him with someone more combat oriented every time you lead him on a mission, or else you’ll find yourself in a bind once the blasters start blasting.
Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is supposed to hit the shelves on June 28th. It will come out on PC, Xbox One and 360, Nintendo Wii and 3DS, as well as Playstation 3, 4 and Vita. If it’s going to be anything like the previous Lego games, expect the handheld version to be substantially different to the proper one.
The latest video focuses on BB-8, the cutesy droid who can help the rebels reach Luke Skywalker.
