How to Open Olympus Red Box in Kingdom Hearts 3?

To open the giant red box in Olympus in KH3, you’ll have to jump at it from a height, and then perform a dive-attack on it. You’ll come across the red box in the Realm of the Gods area of Olympus. Specifically, you’ll run into the Olympus Red Box in Kingdom Hearts 3 when the game teaches you about the Airstepping mechanic. During this section, you’ll have to clamber to the summit of Mount Olympus using airstepping.

However, there seems to be no way of opening the red box. That’s, of course, not true. From the red box, airstep onto the next platform above the box. Then, turn around, and jump off the cliff towards the red box. A few seconds before you land on it, the game will prompt you to perform a dive attack. So, you’ll have to react quickly and press the button in time (X on PlayStation). This will smash the red box and reveal a hidden chest that you can then open. If you don’t manage it, don’t worry. All you have to do is jump back up to the platform above and try again. This is handy in more than one way, because this lets you practice the dive attack a little bit.

To destroy the sparkling rock in the Kingdom of Corona in Kingdom Hearts 3, you also have to perform a diving strike. Just find a place that’s above the rock, and perform the diving strike. Before that, though, you’ll have to push far enough into the Corona main campaign, until you unlock a double swing with Rapunzel. Goofy will even tell you that this might help you destroy the rock. Then, go back to the rock, climb above it, and use the double swing with Rapunzel to get enough air for the diving strike. It’s not difficult; if at first you don’t succeed, try and tr again.
