Kingdom Come Deliverance DLC Roadmap Promises Three This Year
Warhorse Studios, the developers of Kingdom Come Deliverance, have released the DLC roadmap for the game, showcasing the new content coming in 2018 and early 2019. This will include some free content, such as Hardcore Mode and Tournament, as well as four DLC expansions, three of which are coming out this year.
Kingdom Come Deliverance is far from being done. There is quite a bit of content that’s coming to the game this year, and even some spilling over into 2019. The developers of Kingdom Come, Warhorse Studios, released the DLC roadmap on their Twitter (and other social media), and, if they stay on schedule, you’ll be getting three DLC chapters during 2018. There will be other extra content aside from the DLC chapters, some of which will be free. As for the DLCs, their price hasn’t been announced as of writing this article.
The first DLC, which will come out some time this summer, is From the Ashes, along with the free Hardcore mode, for those of you that thought the base game was too easy. Presumably, the first DLC will be about rebuilding after the war. Afterwards, they will apparently release some kind of video or documentary about making the game. Then, in fall, we’ll get the Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon. The name says it all.
Later still, at the end of fall, you can look forward to another free addition, called simply Tournament; presumably, it will be some kind of new game mode or something. At the beginning of Winter, you can expect the release of the third DLC, Band of Bastards. Lastly, presumably in early spring of 2019, they’ll release the fourth and final DLC, A Woman’s Lot. That sounds potentially very interesting. Also in the pipeline is modding support, which I’m really looking forward to. You just know somebody will add Shrek into medieval Bohemia, and it’s going to be glorious.
