Injustice 2 New Character Profiles Updated

NetherRealm have updated the character descriptions in the profiles of Poison Ivy, Robin, Braniac and Bane. All of those characters made an appearance in the recent story trailer for Injustice 2. However, other than Robin, we don’t know if they’ll be playable or not.

Four character profiles got an update on the Injustice 2 website. We’ve already seen Robin, Bane, Brainiac and Poison Ivy in the Injustice 2 story trailer, and know we can read more about them. In case you’re unfamiliar with these characters, you might want to visit the Characters section of the website and get familiar with them.

Interestingly, Robin is currently the only one out of the four that we know will be playable. We’ve seen as much in the Injustice 2 Robin gameplay trailer. The other confirmed playable characters are Batman, Blue Beetle, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, Aquaman, and Atrocitus. We’ll see what other characters NetherRealm have in store for us. Ed boon has promised “obscure characters”, after all.

Bane

After Superman’s defeat, Bane was betrayed by the Regime and relentlessly pursued by Batman. Having already spent most of his life in prison, he his determined to take revenge against his former Regime masters and turn Gotham into a city where his rule is law.

Poison Ivy

Dr. Pamela Isley was once an innovative, radical botanical biochemist with a singular goal: make the world safe for plant life to flourish. She joins the Society to further their common interest in bringing mankind to its knees, but at heart, Ivy’s desire is to ensure that in any new world order, flora dominates fauna.

Robin

Raised from birth by the League of Assassins, Damian Wayne has always struggled with Batman’s non-lethal code of honor. Now in direct opposition with his father, Damian seeks a new mentor in Superman–whom he considers to be more of a father than Batman ever was.

Injustice 2 is an upcoming superhero fighting game. It’s coming out on May 16th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. here’ll also be a free-to-play mobile app on iOS and Android.
