Where is the Hermit in the Forest in Immortal Life?

You can get the Hermit in the Forest quest in Immortal Life the day after you first visit the Sunset Forest. You can only do that once you upgrade your axe the first time, but we’ll cover that in another guide. Anyway, the day after you go to the Sunset Forest, go and talk to Li Mengqing. She will mention the hermit in the forest, even if you haven’t seen the hermit at all. Li will then tell you to go and talk to Yang Ziqin. After you do that, Yang will give you a Guiyun Sect Letter to give to the hermit. Great! All you need to do know is figure out where this mysterious person is. And that’s where the problem begins.

It took me forever to figure out where the hermit in the forest is in Immortal Life. I searched all through the Sunset Forest. There is a part on the right that you can’t access until you get the Superior Axe, so that’s not it. Here’s the solution I discovered a few in-game days later. The hermit, Song Yantong, appears in the top middle of the Sunset Forest map at 8:30 in the morning every day. So, the first thing you should do after waking up is go straight into the forest and wait for Song to appear. Talk to her and give her the letter, then talk to Yang Ziqin to complete the quest. Later on, when you go into the forest again, you’ll be able to visit Song’s house.
