Item Quality in Immortal Life

There are four different tiers of item quality in Immortal Life. You’ll usually encounter them with the crops you grow and the fish you catch. The usual three are Common (C), which is the lowest tier. Common-quality items have a gray background in your inventory. The next grade is Good (G), which has a green background. Lastly, there’s Superior Grade (S), which is blue. The biggest difference between these three tiers is how much money you can sell it for. The higher the quality, the better the price. However, I recommend keeping some higher-grade ingredients of every kind in your house or warehouse. Just for cooking purposes, or if an NPC ends up asking for it in a quest. Keep about half of your yield in a stockpile, and sell the rest.

Now we come to the fourth and highest item quality or grade in Immortal Life – Luxury or Luxurious (L). These have an orange background, and are very rare (as far as fishing and farming goes, anyway). When it comes to plants, these are mutations that sometimes appear in your crops, such as green soy beans, exquisite wheat, superior potatoes (the blue ones), etc. I don’t know if there’s a way to increase the chances of getting a luxury crop or fish; that seems to be completely random. I’ll update the guide once I find out. For now, just know that they’re very rare. Do not sell them unless you have to. Yes, they give you a lot of money, but resist the temptation. Keep them in the warehouse or your house. You never know when a quest might require them.
