How to Pop Balloon at the End of Rito Village in Age of Calamity
The balloon at the end of Rito Village in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity is one of a number of Korok targets that you can find strewn all across the game. However, you can’t just shoot them outright. If you try, they start spinning around, making it impossible to shoot them. Fortunately, there’s a pretty simple method to keep them in place. We’ll show you how to shoot Korok targets in our How to Pop Balloon at the End of Rito Village in Age of Calamity guide.
Age of Calamity Rito Village Pop Balloon – How to Shoot Korok Targets?
To pop the balloon at the end of Rito Village in Age of Calamity, and shoot Korok targets in general, you have to use Stasis on them. If you try to shoot it with your bow and arrow without that, it’ll spin wildly. There’s no way you’re going to hit it without using magic. So, when you approach the balloon and it slowly comes into view, hit it with Stasis. As you probably know by now, that’ll freeze the target in place for a few precious seconds. After you hit it with Stasis, quickly switch to the bow and arrow, and shoot the balloon. You might need a few tries until you get used to it.
Incidentally, if you want to know where the Korok target balloon is in Rito Village, it’s near the entrance to the settlement. Instead of going into the village, head to the little corner in the northeast opposite of the gates. If you’re having trouble figuring out where it is, consult the screenshots below. Once more for the cheap seats in the back – hit the Korok balloon target with Stasis first, and then with an arrow, and you’re good.
As you might have surmised by now, this same strategy works for all Korok targets in the game, not just the balloon in Rito Village. It’s a pretty simple mechanic, as long as you always remember the powers that you have at your disposal. So, yeah, that’s how you pop the balloon at the end of Rito Village in Age of Calamity, and all the other Korok targets.
I have tested and you can also use a 2 handed sword to pop them with an ordinary attack and no stasis. Idk if this is a bug or a feature as you have no bow with that weapon.
