Get Bladed Rhino Beetle in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Bladed Rhino Beetles are an item in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Among other things, you’ll need them to unlock the South Akkala stable, during the Anything But Bugs quest. The amount you’ll need is low, but any amount is high when you don’t have any. If you’re having trouble finding them, this guide will show you how to get bladed rhino beetle in Age of Calamity.

The first place you should look is the Battle of Hyrule Field. If you head south along the western edge of the map, you’ll find a dead end near the bottom, with a Bokoblin cave, the one shaped like a skull. There’s a chest inside, which has a chance to drop bladed rhino beetles. You won’t get them every time you open it, but be persistent and they will drop eventually. It usually drops nine of them, which is more than enough for the quest.

The other place where you can look is the Road to the Ancient Lab. Follow the eastern edge of the map from the north to the south, and you’ll find a chest after the bend. Again, the bugs aren’t a guaranteed drop here either, but there is a chance to get them. If you’re sick of trying the one in Hyrule Field, you can switch to this one to change up the scenery.

Since there are less items in the drop table for Hyrule Field, the chances of getting the beetles there are nominally higher. You’ll probably need them for something other than the Akkala quest later on, so it’s a good idea to stockpile some while you’re still eager and willing to grind. You may not feel that way after some time has passed.
