Age of Calamity Amiibo Rewards & How to Use Amiibo
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, like all Nintendo games, supports Amiibo figurines. You can use them to get specific in-game rewards, ranging from weapons to materials. If you’re wondering exactly how the system works, or what rewards are offered for which amiibo, our Age of Calamity Amiibo rewards & how to use amiibo guide will help you.
How to use amiibo in Age of Calamity?
In order to reap the rewards of your amiibo collection, you’ll have to get past chapter one. Once you do that, quit to the title screen, and you’ll see an option at the bottom simply called “amiibo”. Select it, and the game will prompt you to bring the figurine close to the chip reader in the gamepad.
Keep in mind that there’s a limit – you can only activate five amiibo each day, so choose wisely. In order to help you choose which ones to activate every day, we’re going to compile a list of all the amiibo that work with the game and what you can get from them.
Amiibo rewards in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
Here’s a list of all the amiibo we’ve seen activated, and the rewards they offer. We’ll keep updating it as more and more people try things out. Feel free to leave a comment if you’ve tried out one that isn’t on the list.
- Legend of Zelda Amiibos – Specific weapons
- Link – Soldier’s Spear (11 dmg)
- Non-Zelda Amiibos – Items & materials
- Cloud – Sealthfin Trout x5, Armored Porgy x5, Chickaloo Tree Nut x5
As usual, the rewards aren’t spectacular, but it’s a nice touch. And they can help you out when you’re in a bind – for instance, if you need the specific materials offered by one of them in order to unlock a new place.
I’ve tried these and here were my results. Hope this helps!
Ganondorf and Bokoblin both gave monster guts and ingredients of that type.
Animal Crossing cards or amiibos always seem to give the porgy/treenut set of ingredients.
Ancient Guardian amiibo gives cores or spring parts.
Sheik gave random zelda weapon.
