Honkai Star Rail Twitch Drops Items Lost Bug

The Honkai Star Rail Twitch Drops items missing glitch is probably one of the most irritating bugs at the moment. Developer Hoyoverse has set up Twitch Drops for a whole month to celebrate the game’s launch and reward players for watching their favourite streamers playing the game. However, on the very first day of the game, there’s a serious bug which might cost you your items. Namely, a number of players report they have lost their claimed Twitch Drops items shortly after starting the game. Why is this happening?

Apparently, there is a bug which happens if you claim your rewards via the official Hoyoverse Twitch Drops page before you complete the “A Moment of Peace” mission. Unfortunately, if you do this, you will lose all your rewards claimed before you’ve completed the mission.

After you FULLY complete that mission, you will get twitch drops, but ONLY for the drops you claim after the mission is completed,” says Reddit user Omiexstrike. “It makes no sense before the mailbox function is accessible at the START of the mission, not after it completes.”

At the time of writing, there are no known fixes for this. Players have tried relinking Twitch accounts, watching the streams again, re-claiming, and nothing works. Hopefully, the developers will be aware of this issue and provide a hotfix soon, which will allow those players who have experienced the bug to claim the rewards.
