Hogwarts Legacy Tame Beasts
We all know that magical beasts are a very important part of Harry Potter’s setting. So it should come as no surprise that they are also prominently featured in Hogwarts Legacy as well. Similarly to Pokemon games, HL also allows us to capture and then tame these magical creatures. If you were wondering how the entire process functions in the game, we are going to show you everything that you need to know about how to get and how to tame beasts in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Tame Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy
As part of the Beast Class quest, Poppy Sweeting will show you how to tame beasts – by brushing and feeding them. After that, you’ll get “The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom” quest. During this quest, Deek the Elf is going to show you how to use the Nab-Sack to rescue magical animals that are being threatened by poachers. When you get back to Deek in the Room of Requirement, you will unlock the Vivarium. The Vivarium is the place where you can place your rescued and caught magical beasts. You can then feed and brush them to gain their favor. In turn, they will produce all sorts of magical materials for you. If you are very lucky, you might even get a Shiny Beast. As such, this is definitely something that’s worth doing, since you can get a lot of great ingredients from it.
Note that the Vivarium doesn’t have unlimited space. If you want to put in a different animal of the same kind, you can free your current beast of that type to make more room. You can also sell magical beasts you have no use for at the Brood and Peck shop in Hogsmeade. And, finally, you have to be aware that this quest comes pretty late in the game, and that you won’t be able to tame animals right from the beginning.
