Hogwarts Legacy Mods

Modding is one of those things that sets video games – and PC gaming in particular – apart from other forms of mass media entertainment. Using mods, we can, for example, tailor a game more to our preferences. This often involves adding more content, introducing quests and characters, unofficial bug fixes, and advanced graphical options. There are games that are simply perfect for modding – such as Skyrim – and then there are games that are notoriously difficult to mod and which don’t have any mods at all. But which category does Hogwarts Legacy fall under and are there any mods for it? We’re going to see what is the current state of HL modding and where to find these mods.

Mods For Hogwarts Legacy

At the time of writing, there are no mods for Hogwarts Legacy as of yet. Though, this is to be expected. After all, the PC Deluxe Edition hasn’t come out yet, meaning that modders still don’t have access to the game’s files on the PC. It goes without saying that most mods are produced on – and are made for – the PC, so we are going to have to wait a bit longer until the first mods for the game start appearing.

Though, good news on that front. It seems that there is already a Nexus Mod category in the works for Hogwarts Legacy. As you probably know, Nexus Mods is the biggest mod repository on the internet, and all major moddable games have their own subcategory there. There is even an open call for all people that want to get involved in Hogwarts Legacy modding to join the Discord here. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long for the first HL mods. In the meantime, we still have an excellent base game that we can enjoy even in its vanilla form.
