Gwent Nilfgaard Patch Overview Stream Announced

The long wait is finally over. Niflgaard, the fifth faction in Gwent, is at long last coming to the game. They’ll be added in an upcoming patch, along with some other fixes and additions. CD Projekt Red started teasing the arrival of the new faction a few days ago by changing the profile pictures on Gwent social media to the Niflgaard symbol. Their symbol is, as before, a golden sun on a dark background.

We don’t know much about the faction yet. However, we do know that their passive ability won’t be the same as before. This time, their faction ability is redrawing one card each round. For more details, we’ll have to wait patiently for the live stream. During the stream, Michał Dobrowolski and Paweł Burza of CD Projekt Red will discuss the new cards and patch notes, as well as build a new deck for the Niflgaard faction.

The stream will begin on February 1st at 9 PM CET, which translates to 12 PM PST or 3 PM EST. Don’t forget to tune in to the CD Projekt Red Twitch channel to find out what they’ve prepared for us.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is a free-to-play collectible card game. Originally, it appeared in Witcher 3 as a mini game. However, it became so popular that CD Projekt Red decided to make a standalone spin-off. In the game, you can play as several different factions, each with their special abilities and strategies. The cards all feature characters from the Witcher universe.
