Gwent New Hotfix Now Live, Patch Notes Released

There’s a new hotfix out for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. As with most patches in games like these, it introduces tons upon tons of little and major tweaks to many different cards, mostly adjusting their Power scores. There’s also several bug fixes for some problems that have been popping up.

Gwent got a new hotfix, and it’s available on all three platforms: Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. A lot of cards are getting changed in some way, with the most emphasis being on weather and carry-overs. To give players a chance to adapt to the new meta, all of the cards that have been affected the most will have an increased milling value for the next three days. You can check out the list below; milling any of the cards mentioned will net you the exact amount of Scraps and Powder you need to create another card of the same value.

The full patch notes, detailing all of the changes to the cards can be found on the official Gwent website. Below, you can check out the list of game fixes that the patch introduces:

  • Removed the black background from the mulligan screen when opponent is redrawing cards.
  • Fixed an issue with Taunt setting options being reversed.
  • Fixed an issue with mulligan disappearing too fast, making it impossible to see the last redrawn card.
  • Fixed an issue whereby Bloody Baron would be moved to the top of the deck at the start of the round, instead of at the end of round.
  • Fixed an issue with Henselt and Dagon AI having more than 3 copies of cards in the Deck in Challenges.
  • Deployed a new fix for an issue whereby changing the console language on PS4 before signing in results in game being stuck on “Inventory loaded”.
  • Deployed a new fix for the issue whereby Disloyal Agile Units (e.g. Letho) could not have been played on rows other than Melee.
  • Numerous tooltip fixes and changes.
