When will Gwent Close beta end

Many of the players are wondering when does the Gwent beta end and CD Projekt Red made a statement that the Gwent closed beta is ending sometime in the spring of 2017. Also, they added that it is only a rough estimate, but at least we now have some information about the duration of the beta.

CDPR also added that they have only one goal with the current beta stage and that is to make Gwent as fun an experience as possible. As usual, their policy about releasing the full game is similar to the one with Witcher 3. They won’t release it until they are fully satisfied with their final project so the players can enjoy the game that is honest, fun and well balanced.

Despite the fact that Gwent is totally based on The Witcher games and books series, you don’t have to know anything about the universe to enjoy the clashes and battles in this card game. It is definitely a completely standalone experience. Of course, if you own Witcher 3, you can also play the game as Geralt versus the AI in the campaign. But as CDPR said, this is a much more than the game you used to play in the Wild Hunt.

Of course, you can sign up for the closed beta despite the fact that it is already live. According to their statement, if you sign up today, you can expect access to the beta pretty soon. But even though the game will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, this closed Beta is available only on Xbox One and PC.
