Zelda Link's Awakening Dream Shrine - Where to Find Ocarina
Ocarina in Zelda Link’s Awakening is an item that you can get in the Dream Shrine, which is a special location that you have to discover. However, you can only get to the proper place and access the Dream Shrine after you complete a certain dungeon. Plus, to get the Dream Shrine ocarina, you have to complete another dungeon. On top of that, once you get to Dream Shrine, there’s enemies and environmental hazards to keep in mind. If you’re stuck here, then our Zelda Link’s Awakening Dream Shrine – Where to Find Ocarina is the right place for you.
How to get Ocarina in Dream Shrine in Link’s Awakening?
To get the Link’s Awakening ocarina in the Dream Shrine, you have to first complete the first three dungeons in the game. Specifically, the second and third one, aka Bottle Grotto and Key Cavern, respectively. In Bottle Grotto, you’ll get the Power Bracers that allow you to lift rocks. In Key Cavern, you’ll get the Pegasus Boots, which let you rush enemies and destroy certain obstacles.
Once you have both of these abilities, head to the north of Mabe Village. Next to the large cut with the green roof, you’ll find a small, stone house. Use the Power Bracelets to lift the rocks out of your way, and go inside. Lie in the bed, and that will transport you into the Dream Shrine.
Once in the Dream Shrine, you’ll have to go around the place in a circle, while killing the Arm-Mimics and making sure you don’t fall when the cracked floor tiles collapse. We’ll cover how to kill the enemies below. Once you’re near completing the circle, use the Pegasus Boots dash to break the tent-like obstacle. Climb up the stairs to the ocarina, and pick it up.
How to Kill Arm-Mimic & Shyguy Zelda Link’s Awakening Enemies?
To kill Arm-Mimics and Shyguys in Zelda Link’s Awakening, you have to use the same strategy. Basically, they mirror what you do. If you face them, they will face you. If you turn away from them, they’ll turn their backs to you. Do you see where I’m going with this?
Approach the Arm-Mimic or Shyguy, but do not touch them. Just come face-to-face with them. Then, turn your back to them, so that they turn theirs to you. Then, press and hold B to charge your attack. Let go of the button, and Link will perform a spin attack that will kill / damage the enemy. Repeat as necessary.
That said, when it comes to the Dream Shrine, things are different, especially if you have the Pegasus Boots. You can simply do the dash attack as you round every corner. If you do this, Link will just rush from one side of the map to the other, steamrolling through all the Arm-Mimics. That way, you won’t have to worry about the cracked floor tiles, or anything else, for that matter.
thanks for the guide.
