Which Sport Has Air Bud Not Played
When discussing sports movies – and especially sports comedies – there is one series that immediately springs to mind. The movie in question is none other than Air Bud. First released in 1997, Air Bud follows Air Buddy – a golden retriever that is surprisingly good at playing sports. Besides being a very good boy that just about everybody loves, he has played a lot of different sports. But which sport has Air Bud not played? Is it: Baseball, Football, Lacrosse, or Volleyball? That’s what we’re here to answer.
Which Sport Has Air Bud Never Played
As we all know, in the original movie, Air Bud starts off playing basketball. People are at first sceptical about a dog being able to play basketball, but they are soon taken in by the friendly and lovable canine. Not content with merely playing just basketball, Air Buddy soon branched off into other sports as well. But there is one notable sport that he has never played. What is it? Is it:
- 1. Baseball.
- 2. Football.
- 3. Lacrosse.
- 4. Volleyball.
The correct answer is Lacrosse. Though it would be very interesting to see the doggy play this particular sport, the long stick doesn’t make it very practical for Air Buddy (or, indeed, any other dog). But as for all the other sports on the list, you better belive that Buddy played – and excelled – in all of them. In Air Bud: Golden Receiver (the sequel to the first movie, released in 1998), Bud is playing American Footbal as a – you guessed it – receiver. And then, in Air Bud: World Pup (aka Air Bud 3, from 2000), he is a soccer star. After that, in Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch (released in 2002), Air Buddy is an accomplished baseball player. And finally, in Air Bud: Spikes Back (Air Bud 5, from 2003), Air Buddy is playing volleyball.
