After the events of Chapter 3, many fans where left wondering – what is the Hour of Joy in Poppy Playtime? This mysterious and traumatic event happened 10 years before the events of the game – on August 8th, 1995. And while we can piece together much of the timeline of the Hour of Joy, there are still so many unanswered questions about it. In this article, we are going to explore all of secrets surrounding the Hour of Joy in Poppy Playtime, what really occurred during it, and what this means for the characters and setting of the game. Needless to say, but it’s all spoilers from here on out.

What Happened in The Hour of Joy in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3

The Hour of Joy is a rebellion that occurred on 8/81995 at the Playtime Co. factory. It involved all of the major characters in the game. This includes The Prototype, Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, Miss Delight, Kissy Missy, Boxy Boo, CatNap, and more. Basically, all of the creations rose up against the humans in the facility, killing anyone they could find. As for why did the Hour of Joy need to happen – the reason was that the creations saw it as an uprising against their masters.

What Happened to Children After Hour of Joy in Poppy Playtime?

While we don’t have a confirmed answer to this question – it doesn’t look like whatever happened to children after the Hour of Joy was anything good. In fact, the most likely explanation was that they were all killed. So even though CatNap allegedly kept some of them safe after the incident, their fate is probably a gruesome one – either starving to death, or being eaten by some of the other creations there. Like Poppy said: “They killed everyone.
