Made by League of Legends developer Riot Games, Valorant is one of the most popular free-to-play online shooters of its kind. With gameplay inspired by both Counter-Strike and Overwatch, it isn’t hard to see why that is the case. Naturally, as is the case with every other online game, sometimes Valorant is going to be down. This can be for expected reasons such as routine server maintenance, and also due to sudden problems on the developer’s end. Whatever the case may be, this guide is going to answer whether or not Valorant is down, what is the current server status and when we can expect scheduled maintenance to occur.
Is Valorant Down and is There a Server Outage?
Currently, at the time of writing this guide – which is Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 – Valorant server status is up and running normally. So, to answer the question of are Valorant servers down, the answer is – no, they are up and working as intended. However, there is an update planned for later today. More specifically, at 6 AM PST / 3 PM CET / 9 AM EST. When this happens, the servers are going to be down for a while for routine maintenance.

When Will Valorant Servers Be Up?
Typically, when it comes to routine maintenance, Valorant servers are down for between one and two hours. This means that you can expect to play Valorant again later today, March 7th, 2023, at 7-8 AM PST / 4-5 PM CET / 10-11 AM EST.
