How to Get Pristine Hide in V Rising

To get Pristine Hide in V Rising, which you need for Pristine Leather, you’re going to have to hunt down some pretty tricky beasts. One of these are werewolves, which spawn at night all over Dunley Farmlands, mostly in the northeast near the Cursed Forest, as well as in the east and southwest. As far as we can tell, they don’t really have set spawn points, so you’ll probably end up searching the general area until you run into some werewolves. Let us know in the comments if they do have specific spawn places. Another possible source of Pristine Hides are the large animals living in the aforementioned Cursed Forest. However, it seems that the lycanthropes of Dunley Farmlands seem to be your best bet. Again, let us know in the comments if that’s not the case.

So, now we know where to find Pristine Hide in V Rising, but how do you get Pristine Leather? Well, for that, aside from the hide, you’ll also need Fish Oil. You can get this resource from Mosswick Village, in the southwest of Dunley Farmlands. Then, you have to build a Tannery in your castle (available after killing Keely The Frost Archer). Place 13 Pristine Hide and 3 Fish Oil into the Tannery and wait for the process to finish. Boom, you now have one Pristine Leather, which you can then use for whatever crafting purposes you need. Yes, that’s quite a chunk of resources for just one piece of leather, but it is what it is.

Right before you enter the Cursed Forest, There is a npc village known as “GloomGrave Village”. If you go at night, there seems to be quite a few Warewolves walking around. I haven’t been there during the day.
