How to Unlock Prince Eric Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney has been around for a long, long time. During their almost 100-year history, there have been many Disney cartoons and movies, all of which are filled with all sorts of wonderful characters. Prince Eric is one of the better-known (and fleshed-out as a character) Disney Princes, and he is, naturally, also in Disney Dreamlight Valley. However, it isn’t all that clear what you need to do in order to unlock him in the game. To help you out with this, we are going to explain how to unlock Prince Eric in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The first step towards unlocking Prince Eric in DDV is to unlock the Dazzle Beach area. There, you will find Ursula the Sea Witch, the villain from The Little Mermaid. Her quest chain can get a bit bugged in the game, so we recommend that you read through our Ursula Missing, Not on the Map guide if you run into any problems with her not showing up as she should.

Once you have rescued Ursula and made sure that you can reliably find her, the next step here is to get her Friendship Level up to 10. This is because this is required to unlock Prince Eric. To increase her Friendship Level, you need to do her quests and give her gifts. You can either do this slowly, through the daily conversation and three special gifts that she likes the most. Or, you can speedrun this. Generally, the more expensive a gift, the more Friendship it will raise. So you can give her loads of smaller gifts that will gradually build up her Friendship, or more expensive ones, which will speed up this process. Once you have Ursula’s Friendship to Level 10 and progressed through Ariel’s quest line, you will then unlock Prince Eric as well.
