What is the meaning of this very ominous-sounding message? Simple, it means that someone has spawned the Soul Reaper Raid Boss in the Haunted Castle. This is a so-called System Message that lets the players know about this. The Soul Reaper is one of the toughest enemies in the entire game. It is a Level 2100 Raid Boss with 260.5K HP, and is armed with the Hallow Scythe. This is a devastating weapon that deals 2-3k damage per hit.
So why would you even risk facing such an overwhelming boss? Well, several reasons. If you deal at least 10% damage to the Soul Reaper, you are going to get the Holy Crown and Bones. Also, this encounter is part of the Cursed Dual Katana questline. And finally, there is a 5% chance that the Soul Reaper is going to drop the Hallow Scythe once you defeat him.
