Telemetry Forza Horizon 5 - How to Turn on Telemetry

Racing games usually have all sorts of data that you will need to be aware of while driving. Forza Horizon 5 is no different in this regard, as you will have to take your speed, minimap, position, gear shifts, and other such information into consideration. However, sometimes that isn’t enough, and you want to have more information – your torque, friction, RPM, etc. This is where telemetry in FH5 comes in. However, to turn on Telemetry requires that you first do a couple of things in the game. As you will see in this Telemetry Forza Horizon 5 – How to Turn on Telemetry guide, enabling this option is very easy, once you know what you need to turn on and where.

You will not be able to change this option until you have advanced to the point in the game where Anna introduces herself. But don’t worry, this is very early on. Anna is a sort of Siri-like GPS assistant. She will help you with giving out directions and other driving tips of that nature. Though, many players have found that she is of little use in the game and that you are better off using the map instead.

So, once you have unlocked Anna, you will need to choose between having her on and having telemetry turned on. To do this, go into your settings. Next, select the Advanced Controls tab. In here, you will see an option called “Switch Anna / Telemetry / TTS”. It is on Anna by default. Change it to Telemetry. And that’s all there is to it, you now have Telemetry in FH5 turned on, and you can switch back to Anna any time you want to.
