The Finals is a free-to-play first-person shooter game developed by Embark Studios, available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Seris X/S. It is set in a televised virtual combat game show similar to the one from The Hunger Games, where players compete in teams of three to complete objectives and win fame and fortune. These characters are known as Contestants, as they are literally contestants on a deadly game show. The problem is that somethimes the Contestants are disappearing – and you can’t control or play the game itself. This opens up the question of whether or not there is anything you can do to fix The Finals Disappearing Contestants bug. Luckily, there are several methods you can try to resolve this issue.
How to Fix The Finals Character Disappeared Bug
It appears that this bug can happen on every gaming platform. So to begin with, you should try and restart the game. It might take several game reboots until The Finals is working as intended again. And if this isn’t working, the next step is to restart your PC or game console. Some players have said that restarting their gaming device worked and that they were able to play after doing this. If your character is still continuing to appear disappeared in The Finals, you should try validating game files on Steam (if playing on the PC). To do this, find The Finals in your Steam game library and right-click on it. Select Properties and from there, go to the Installed Files tab. Select the “Verify integrity of game files” option. Also, you should make sure that your graphics card drivers are up to date.
